Why we bloat?





One of the most popular question or comment repeat a woman is they feel bloated and why its happening. Many womens see a bloated belly all day long even if they eat clean or exercise and others see they bellies grows like a balloon during the day. One of the possibles answers is in the food they eat.

The food rich in saturated fat make our digestion longer, this create like a traffic jam in our bowels and this create gases.
Raw foods and some kind of vegetables can create this bloating efect. This foods ferment in our stomach so consequently gases appears.

The low intake of protein make us to retain liquid in our abdomen. Thats why we have to take the right amount of protein everyday.

Be careful aswell with carbonated drinks because often we don't expel all this gas and it accumulate in our belly.

Another cause can be the fiber because as we all know the fiber helps us to eliminate all the waste substances. I we don't eliminate them correctly we feel heavy and full of gas. But consume to much fiber is not good to because it can have the opposite effect. This fiber will ferment too much and we will have too much gas inside us.

Is also important to control our salt intake. Too much sodium in our organism  can generate this bloat feeling. All the food have naturally sodium inside that why when we cook them we don't need to put more salt just spices to give flavour.

The foods intolerance also are important creating more gases (again). The most common intolerances are from gluten and lactose that why its not a bad idea do some check ups.

If you bloat because of the liquid retention you will also feel your hands and feet swells not just your belly. To solve it you can take remedies to helps you to elimites this liquids. Also a good idea is to take a lot of water during the day.

In some people stress and anxiety can cause digestive problems. The bloat is not associated with what you eat but with who you feel. You can try therapies like yoga, tai chi, massages and much more.

And what about the hormones??? An hormonal imbalance can have as a second efect constipation, gases etc etc. The estrogens (the female hormone by excellence) is the guilty of this feeling. Almost all the women have this feeling at this period of the month but with an healthy diet, some workouts and plenty of water we can minimize those efects.
But if the symptoms are to high don't hesitate to check with your gynecologist.
